Simbach celebrates: city festival with music, art market and parade!

A colorful hustle and bustle awaits the citizens of Simbach on June 27th and 28th, 2025, when the popular city festival comes to life. On the picturesque church square, the event will attract numerous visitors and offer a diverse program that will delight young and old.

On Friday, June 27th, the festival begins at 6 p.m. with a night flea market, which is an ideal showcase for bargain hunters. The Tassilo-Gymnasium band will provide musical entertainment from 7 p.m., followed by Simone White & Band at 8 p.m. Further highlights of the evening are the energetic performances by the bands Maruin 5, Die Kellerkinder and Bavaroots, who will be on stage from 9 p.m. The artists will bring the nighttime festival to life with catchy melodies and rousing rhythms, while the night flea market will remain open until 10 p.m.

Festive mood on Saturday

Things will continue lively on Saturday, June 28th from 2 p.m. The highlight of the day is the big parade at 3 p.m., which leads from the church square over the Innstrasse to the Aenus and back. Here visitors can enjoy the parade, which is peppered with musical support from brass bands. Mayor Klaus Schmid will warmly welcome those present and the brass bands will also perform impressively with their concerts.

The art market will also open its doors in Sparkasse Park from 3 p.m. Here, local artists present wooden decor, pottery and wood turning work that invite you to browse and buy. The local restaurateurs provide the culinary delights, especially the Zeiler family, who take care of the catering.

Security and information

The Simbach police and the district traffic police will also be present and will address the important topic of cycling safety with an information stand. Under the motto "Caution. Consideration.
