Haselbacher Kirwa: tradition, dancing and beer enjoyment from June 28th to 30th!

Preparations in Haselbach are in full swing! It's almost that time again: the traditional Haselbacher Kirwa will be celebrated on the weekend from June 28th to 30th. The Catholic Rural Youth has put a lot of effort into setting up a new format because the village inn is currently closed. This year the festival will take place on the festival lawn near the parish hall, where the villagers and visitors can expect a great time. Central Bavarian reports that there is already great interest in the event.

The festivities begin on Saturday evening with the installation of the Kirwa tree. At 6 p.m. the Kirwa operation will be opened by the “Bayrisch Blech” brass band. An hour later, the first young Kirwa couples are allowed to show off their skills at a dance performance. A highlight is the fine Kirwabier from the Naabeck Castle Brewery - a real pleasure with a radiant golden tone and an alcohol content of 5.1%. It was brewed with rock spring water and Hallertau aromatic hops and is personally tapped by Oberkirwamoidl Veronika Sieß!
