Free shuttle bus to the community festival: get to your destination in comfort in Maxhütte!

In Maxhütte-Haidhof it's time again in August: celebrate and enjoy! This year's citizens' festival will take place on August 16th and 17th, 2025, and so that the celebration starts as worry-free as possible for everyone, a free bus shuttle will also be offered this year. The special service offering is enjoying growing popularity after an event bus in Teublitz was well received last year. The Town Triangle Association, which launched the 2024 initiative, would like to enable citizens to travel comfortably to the festivities.

“We have improved our offering and increased the number of stops,” explains managing director Christoph Riedl. In fact, to celebrate, two buses will be used on three different, color-coded lines to connect the cities of Burglengenfeld, Maxhütte-Haidhof and Teublitz. The red line serves Burglengenfeld, the green line serves Maxhütte-Haidhof and the yellow line serves Teublitz. This means that the options for traveling to the community festival are better than ever before.

Bus service details

The first use of the event bus starts on August 16th and serviceable driving is at the top of the agenda. Bus rides are free on both days, which makes celebrating and enjoying delicacies even easier. When planning the timetable, care was taken to create access to as many stops as possible within the city triangle so that as many citizens as possible could take part in the festival. The event bus not only focuses on transport, but also on a user-friendly service.
