The importance of graduation ceremonies
Such graduation ceremonies are not only an honor for the graduates, but also strengthen the bond between the university and the city. The THWS is already organizing another graduation ceremony for May 28, 2025, at which the “WI graduate certificate” will be ceremoniously presented. Everyone whose grades have been determined by May 1, 2025 is invited. This celebration offers graduates the opportunity to celebrate their graduation with their families and friends and to take a lasting souvenir photo with the dean and program director.
Graduation ceremonies are not only an important event in the academic world, they also help maintain traditions. As is the case with different universities, where the types of farewell rituals vary greatly, it is seen that each university develops its own style to appropriately recognize its graduates. University of Frankfurt describes a variety of traditions ranging from solemn ceremonies to creative rituals.
Overall, the reception in Schweinfurt was a sign of appreciation and recognition of the achievements of young talents. The city shows that it has a good hand when it comes to supporting and celebrating its graduates - an investment in the future that benefits both those involved in the university and the entire region.
