TheBench squareis also very popular. The canteen of master chef Günther Haack, located on Rudolf-Schwander-Straße, impresses with three changing daily specials. Prices vary between 8 and 14 euros. A particularly fine dish, such as saddle of lamb or spare ribs, costs 14 euros, while a large salad can be had for just 8.50 euros.

TheChurch houseon Wilhelmshöher Allee offers at least two dishes, usually including a vegetarian option, from Monday to Friday between 12:00 and 2:00 p.m. The prices are between 7.50 and 14 euros, and for those on a budget you can get pasta with sauce every day from just 2.60 euros. Bratwurst is also on the menu on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

TheUniversity cafeteriaswith their numerous locations in Kassel (Holländischer Platz, Kunsthochschule, Wilhelmshöher Allee, Heinrich-Platt-Straße) offer a large selection for external guests.
