COPs failed? Experts are calling for new approaches to climate protection!

New approaches to climate protection
Instead of continuing to rely on the COPs, the author suggests that sovereign states should actively combat climate change through targeted investments in renewable energies, especially solar and nuclear energy. The promotion of local production and strategic trade relationships are also brought into play as possible solutions. According to this point of view, the previous COP models have failed and a new, tailored approach is required.
This vision for climate action represents a radical counterpoint to the current currencies being pursued internationally. It remains to be seen whether such ideas will find broader political support and how they will shape debates about climate change in the coming years.
