Fortunately, the bridge was removed without any damage and shipping traffic can continue to pass unhindered.

At around 11:45 a.m. there was a collision at the junction with Pehmertanger Weg between a car with a trailer, driven by a 28-year-old man from Molbergen, and a car with the right of way, driven by a 70-year-old from Cloppenburg. The reason for the incident was that the older driver was overlooked when entering the B72. Fortunately, everyone involved was uninjured, but the damage to property amounts to around 7,000 euros.
