Speed camera report: Checks will be carried out here in Diepholz from November 3rd!
The upcoming speed controls in the Diepholz district are coming up and are already causing increased attention among road users. In the 45th calendar week, comprehensive speed camera campaigns will be announced on five days to ensure that all road users adhere to the speed limits.
On Monday, November 3rd, checks will be carried out at various locations, including in Ossenbeck on Ossenbecker Straße, in Diepholz on Maschstraße and in Brinkum on Syker Straße. Speed cameras are also planned in Feine (Ristedter Straße/K113), Erichshof (Hombachstraße) and Leeste (Leester Straße/K116). So the motto here is: open your eyes and slow down!
Overview of the speed camera locations
On Tuesday, November 4th, the controls will continue in Anstedt on the L341, in Ehrenburg (Hauptstraße/L341), as well as in Binghausen (Bremer Straße/B51) and Borwede (B51). There won't be a dry eye in Twistringen (Bahnhofstraße) and Seckenhausen (Hauptstraße/B51, Zum Sportplatz). Anyone traveling on these days should be prepared to have their pace measured.
The remaining days also offer no relaxation for speeders. On Wednesday, November 5th, speed cameras are announced in Barnstorf (Walsener Straße/L344), Eydelstedt (Schweringhauser Straße/K38), Donstorf (L344), Stuhr (Blockener Straße/K111), Kirchweyhe (Drohmweg) and Weyhe (Ruschkamp/L335). On Thursday, November 6th, there will be checks in Barenburg (Paschenburg/K19), Vorwohlde (Verdener Straße/L202), Gödestorf (Gödestorfer Straße/K121) and Wachendorf (Bremer Straße/B6).
The event concludes on Friday, November 7th, with speed monitoring in Rehden (Schulstrasse), Spreckel (Am Wasserwerk), Gessel (Handelsweg), Heiligenfelde (Steinheide) and Loge (Hoyaer Strasse/L331). A semi-stationary system is also used in Stuhr on Heiligenroder Straße/B439. It is advisable to keep an eye on the speed, as the district administration is subject to changes and cannot be announced in advance.
The big picture in view
While we focus on these controls, we also take a look at developments in the technology industry. Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, said during the APEC summit in South Korea that he hopes to soon sell Blackwell AI chips to China. These chips are considered extremely advanced and could be of great benefit to both the US and China, although the US government has currently imposed export controls on advanced AI chips. Huang clarified that no final decisions have been made yet, but interest remains. In a previous meeting, former President Trump referred to the chips as “super duper” and emphasized that they were “probably 10 years ahead,” which is a very clear advantage for technological development. It remains to be seen whether these plans will come true, as China has currently blocked the shipment of Nvidia chips.
In the meantime, research and development is taking place elsewhere in the digital world: Microsoft has just introduced the Microsoft 365 Copilot mobile app, which is available to personal and family subscribers. This innovative extension allows users to increase their productivity. Accessible to a wide range of users who have previously created school or business accounts, it offers an exciting opportunity to make work even more efficient.
So stay informed, be careful on the roads and maybe tune in to the digital future. There's a lot to consider - both in traffic and in the rapidly evolving tech world!
