TSG Seckenhausen-Fahrenhorst triumphs and leads the district league!

There is a new leader in the Diepholz district football league: TSG Seckenhausen-Fahrenhorst celebrated an impressive 5-0 win against SV Friesen Lembruch and thus takes over the lead in the table. With this outstanding performance, TSG is the first to go into the winter break, as SV Weyhe and SV Friesen Lembruch will not play any more games this year. TSG crowned their record with their fifth win in a row and are very strong defensively - the team has only conceded 16 goals so far, making them the best defense in the league. Weser-Kurier reports.

The goals for Seckenhausen were scored by Ole Strier (12th, 30th minute) and Jannis Helmbold (48th minute). Helmbold scored another goal in the final phase, while Jan-Hendrik Schwirz is also on the list. A clear victory that gives TSG fans a reason to celebrate!

Tensions in the league

But there were exciting games not only at TSG! The duel between TSV Okel and TuS Lemförde ended remarkably 5:5. Okel initially fought its way into the game with a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Celvin Fischer and Lukas Muntel. However, TuS Lemförde managed to catch up and even take a 5-3 lead before Okel found the equalizer. A truly changeable game that shows how exciting the league is!

SG Diepholz, on the other hand, celebrated a confident 4-0 win against TVE Nordwohlde. Nico Files opened the scoring in the 38th minute. A crucial mistake by Jannes Schorling in the 67th minute made it 2-0 for Diepholz, while Mazlum Sünün (74th) and Rares-Adrian Ruja (90th) scored the other goals. With this defeat, TVE Nordwohlde remains in last place in the table and only achieved a meager five points from 15 games in the first half of the season, as on the Kicker website can be read.

Referees and awards

There is also news off the pitch: Kira Walter, a dedicated referee, has successfully completed her performance test for the women's regional league in Barsinghausen. Additionally, three new referees, Lauris, Paul and Jesse, have joined the ranks after passing their final exams. This gives a positive boost to refereeing in the region.

But those weren't the only awards: Lukas Amelang, Sebastian Kirchner and Markus Jeronimo Moriße were pleased to receive the silver badge of honor from the NFV Kreis Diepholz. A great recognition for their commitment to football.

In addition, the boys Matti and Theis were selected for the DFB base in Sulingen after screening courses, a great success for the young talents.

The division management also thanked all the coaches, despite saying goodbye to nine coaches recently, and thanked their partner Bremer Gerüstbau for their support at the cup finals. The community is strong and shows that team spirit and cohesion are also very important off the field.
