In Jever, the anticipation of the next big musical event is palpable. On June 28, 2025, the “eLOK-Summer Beats” event will take place in the Lokschuppen cultural center - a festival for lovers of electronic music. As nwzonline.de reports, the party opens at 7 p.m. and keeps visitors on their feet until 11:45 p.m. Above all, the danceable beats, which reach frequencies of up to 135 BPM, are largely responsible for the exuberant atmosphere.
A line-up of talented DJs awaits guests on stage. Barocka, Wolf and DJ ANDBEAT ensure that the dance floor in the locomotive shed vibrates. This event promises not only rhythmic sounds, but also an ambience suitable for the whole family, including the over-40s generation. The early shift and early finish also make the event particularly interesting for parents who want to spend a relaxing evening.
Organizational trappings
The event is organized on a voluntary basis by a team of committed people, including Andreas Baumgart, who is known as a DJ and lecturer at Jade University, and Sascha Haak, who works in the Bundeswehr and sees the event as his contribution to the community. Dirk Traunicht completes the team. After the first attempt took place in October 2022, the previous editions showed an increasing response, which makes the preparations for the next date all the more exciting.
The ticket prices are very fair: early bird tickets are available for 5 euros (until May 13, 2025), advance tickets cost 7 euros, and they are available at the box office for 10 euros. Tickets can be conveniently purchased online via the Lokschuppen website lok-jever.de.
