Change at the top: Grafschafter Landvolk welcomes new boss!

There is a significant change in the management of the rural people's association in the county of Bentheim: Elfriede Werdermann is handing over to Hendrik Gelsmann-Kaspers after more than 35 years. This decision not only represents a generational change, but also a new era in corporate management. During her time, Werdermann played a key role in shaping the rural people and successfully developed the office in Neuenhaus. Advice and services were closely tailored to the needs of members and continually expanded. The handover took place as part of an emotional farewell party in September at the Capitol in Nordhorn, where around 160 guests paid respect to their commitment.

In his speech, Wiljan Meilink, chairman of the Landvolk Grafschaft Bentheim, praised Werdermann's principle of “family before business”, a motto that she actively lived. Lambert Hurink, general manager of the Association of the Emsland Rural People, also praised their deep identification with the region and their indispensable commitment. The board thanked everyone for the trusting cooperation and the many shared successes.

The new managing director: Hendrik Gelsmann-Kaspers

Hendrik Gelsmann-Kaspers, a native of Grafschaft, brings a range of experiences that qualify him for this responsible position. Previously, he worked for the State Farmers' Association in Hanover for eight years, where he was a consultant for agricultural policy and environmental law. This expertise will certainly be of great use when it comes to representing the interests of Grafschafter agriculture. Meilink expressed his trust in Gelsmann-Kaspers and his ability to lead the rural people's fortunes into a successful future.
