Cat causes serious motorcycle accident near Soltau – two injured!

On the night of Thursday to Friday, more precisely around 12:20 a.m., a serious traffic accident occurred between two motorcycles on Wieheholzer Straße (K 40) near Soltau. Again Heath Courier Reportedly, a cat got onto the road, causing the 17-year-old driver of a light motorcycle to brake abruptly. Unfortunately, the 20-year-old driver of the following motorcycle was unable to react in time and hit the light motorcycle.

A total of four people were involved in the collision. The 20-year-old motorcyclist and her 18-year-old passenger were seriously injured, while the 17-year-old driver of the light motorcycle and his 17-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries. All injured people were immediately taken to nearby hospitals to receive necessary medical care.

Causes of traffic accidents

Against this background, it becomes clear how important it is to raise awareness of road safety and take preventive measures. The tragic example of the accident near Soltau shows once again that every moment in traffic can be decisive.
