Newly qualified specialists: 42 graduates celebrate in Holzminden

A happy event was celebrated in Holzminden today: 42 young specialists have successfully completed their training at Symrise, Tesium and Symotion. These achievements were recognized with a ceremonial presentation of certificates in the Symrise canteen, which was festively decorated for the occasion. The trainers and colleagues congratulated the graduates on their successful exams, creating a warm atmosphere during the celebration.

The event was opened by the EAME human resources manager, André General, and the training manager, Petra Brychcy, who expressed their enthusiasm and pride about the completed training in their greetings. This year is particularly remarkable because, for the first time, two IT specialists successfully completed their training at Symrise.

A wide range of apprenticeships

The graduates have been trained in various areas covering technical, scientific, commercial and logistical aspects. What is particularly noteworthy is that all 42 trainees passed their exams, many with excellent results. Each of the newly qualified specialists received an IHK certificate, a Symrise certificate and a present.

Tesium graduates include the industrial mechanics Kevin Helm and Ahmet Tursun as well as the electronics engineers for industrial engineering Eyleen Niekamp, Jonas Wintermeyer, Jendrik Alburg, David Lückemeyer and Lukas Prange. From Symotion came Sebastian Reese, who qualified as a warehouse logistics specialist, and Tim Piechatzek, who qualified as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk.

A strong commitment to training

Symrise has been committed to training for around 60 years and regularly achieves notable successes, including placements on the national winners' podium. The company's goal is to recruit qualified employees, which is also reflected in the high number of exams passed. All training positions for 2025 have already been filled and applications will no longer be considered while job advertisements for 2026 are being prepared. Information about this is available on the Symrise website symrise.com reported.

But the labor market also faces challenges. According to the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs' skilled worker monitoring, an increase in the number of people without a qualification is forecast, while the number of vacancies in the coming years is unlikely to be sufficient to compensate for this. The shortage of skilled workers is already having an impact on various industries, and demographic changes are becoming noticeable. Information about this can be found on the BMAS website bmas.de.

In summary, the successful graduation ceremony of the graduates from Symrise, Tesium and Symotion is a testament not only to their individual achievements, but also to the strong commitment to training of these companies, which responds to the changing requirements on the job market.
