Autumn glow delights Holzminden: endless culinary delights and family fun!

Last weekend there was a lot of activity in the center of Holzminden - the autumn glow attracted numerous visitors. Already on the first days, gourmets, families and curious people met to discover and enjoy the variety of offerings. In changeable weather, which was characterized by rain on Saturday and friendly sunshine on Sunday, more than 15 stalls presented their delicacies on Oberen Straße and on the market square. The event was organized by Stadtmarketing Holzminden GmbH and Werbekreis Holzminden e. V. organized, and you can say that the organizers were more than satisfied with how the weekend went.

The culinary highlights were particularly well received: around 15 food trucks offered international specialties, from burritos and shish kebab to churros and crepes. The coffee bike was also a must, where guests could treat themselves to aromatic espresso and cappuccino. The line at the food trucks was often long - a clear indication that the autumn glow hit exactly the right taste.

A celebration for the whole family

There were a variety of hands-on activities, carousels and creative crafts for the little visitors. The Holzminden youth fire brigade even set up two tents on Saturday to offer guests a weatherproof place to go. Inga Schaper, city marketing representative, thanked everyone for the support and highlighted the great atmosphere that characterized the entire event.

Another highlight was the so-called “Green Mile”. Here regional craftsmen and agricultural businesses had the opportunity to present themselves and their products. It was not only a treat for the palate, but also an opportunity to support the local economy and consume sustainably.
