The 27-year-old playmaker signed a new contract on July 18, 2025, tying him to the club until 2027. This means he returns to a club where he previously performed impressively.
In the 2023-24 season, Kuhse caused a sensation in the Easycredit Basketball Bundesliga. His team, RASTA Vechta, surprised the league by finishing the main round in sixth place - a remarkable achievement for a newly promoted team. Kuhse played a key role in this, scoring an average of 17.9 points, 5.8 assists, 1.4 steals and 3.9 rebounds in 36 league games and was named runner-up in the MVP vote.
