A bad scenario developed on Tuesday, June 17th in Wilhelmshaven: An apartment fire caused a stir in an apartment building on Oldeoogestrasse. The fire got loud NWZonline caused by a deflagration when using a camping stove.
Fortunately, the Wilhelmshaven fire department was alerted immediately and responded quickly; the fire was quickly extinguished. When the incident occurred, the resident escaped independently before emergency services arrived. The emergency services immediately assisted the affected person and provided appropriate care. During the fire brigade operation, Oldeoogestrasse between Peterstrasse and Lessingstrasse was closed.

But that wasn't the only fire that affected the city area in recent days. On Saturday evening, June 15th, there was also a devastating fire in a four-story apartment building. How NDR Reportedly, the fire broke out around 11:40 p.m. after a mishap involving food left on the stove on the third floor.
It took firefighters no less than five hours to get the flames under control, but the building was so badly damaged by the fire that it is now uninhabitable. The police have now confiscated the building and are diligently investigating the exact cause of the fire. All residents had to be evacuated and found temporary refuge in emergency shelters or with relatives. Two police officers were taken to hospital as a precaution for smoke inhalation.
