Wolfsburg Christmas Market 2025: A radiant conclusion with moments of happiness!

A Christmas highlight is coming to an end: The Wolfsburg Christmas market closed its doors on December 29, 2025 after five successful weeks. Wolfsburg Wirtschaft und Marketing GmbH (WMG), which was responsible for the organization, draws a consistently positive conclusion. Visitors particularly appreciate the high number of visitors, the consistently good weather and the positive feedback, which made the market a real attraction for the region. Around 60 stalls in the middle Porschestrasse offered a variety of culinary delicacies and handicrafts, which were on offer in the crafts corner, which presented, among other things, chainsaw art and glass distilling.

What made this Christmas market so unique? In addition to a diverse stage program with DJs and live music, there were also some highlights for younger visitors. A free children's program with workshops and performances was offered in the NEULAND Santa Claus House. The little visitors were also able to enjoy rides and visits from St. Nicholas and Santa Claus, which added to the cheerful atmosphere. The cooperation with VfL Wolfsburg and the Grizzlys Wolfsburg, whose team members sold drinks and signed autographs, also caused a lot of excitement.

Attractions and offers for young and old

The generous selection of handicrafts and culinary specialties ensured that there was something for every taste. Local artists presented their unique works in creative huts, while 20 associations and non-profit organizations provided information about their projects in the volunteer hut. Another popular stop was the 2.50 meter high, illuminated wolf sculpture, which served as a photo point and attracted many visitors.

The organizers were particularly proud of the peaceful atmosphere during the Christmas market. This was achieved not least through close cooperation with the police, fire brigade, public order office and security service. With a well-thought-out security concept and the new BRAWO arcades, safe and carefree celebrations could be guaranteed, which has become increasingly important in recent years with the mention of increased security measures at German Christmas markets, also in the context of developments in the past, such as the attack in Magdeburg in 2024.

Overall, the Wolfsburg Christmas market was a true feast for the senses, which not only continued the old tradition, but also provided new impulses. During the market, the sociability and cohesion of the visitors was highlighted as particularly positive. The market thus became a place of togetherness where both locals and guests from the entire region spent a happy time.

The dismantling of the Christmas market began on the evening of December 29, 2025 and will partially extend into the first week of January. Despite the end of this festive event, there remains anticipation for the coming markets, which are traditionally firmly anchored in Germany and are proving to be important economic and cultural factors. [ZDF] reports that over 3,000 Christmas markets are reopening in Germany, with safety and a pleasant atmosphere still high on the agenda.
