What motivates young people in Cologne? There is certainly great interest in new career prospects, and that is exactly what the career information day offers House of Nature in Bonn. On Friday, November 7, 2025, young people and their families can find out about the diversity of careers in the wood sector. The target group is teenagers and young adults who are in the career orientation phase.
The event focuses on wood as a renewable raw material and sustainable living. Who would have thought that a career in...Wood industrycan offer so much variety and exciting possibilities? Visitors can look forward to short lectures on apprenticeships and study programs in the areas of carpentry, carpentry, forestry and engineering.
Morning and afternoon forums
There is a morning forum for schools that runs from 11:15 a.m. to around 12:45 p.m. Students and teachers are warmly invited here. In the afternoon, from 2:15 p.m. to around 3:45 p.m., there will be a forum specifically for young people and parents. Registration for schools is required by email by November 5th, while private individuals can participate in the afternoon without registering. This is an excellent opportunity to gain new insights into the craft and speak to young professionals who have recently completed their training.
