Big celebration in Coesfeld: focus on pediatric and adolescent medicine!
An exciting weekend awaits Coesfeld! On August 23rd, a special event will take place on the market square as part of the celebrations for the 100th anniversary of Münster University Medicine. In cooperation with the Christophorus Clinics, the focus is on pediatric and adolescent medicine, as stated by UKM reported. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. there is a colorful program with medical talks, hands-on activities and lots of fun for the little visitors.
A highlight of the children's program is the stage show by the magician "Kris", who will delight the little ones with his tricks. Clinic clown “Professor Spaghetti” will also be present and will present patient care in a special way. You can also look forward to exercises from children's physiotherapy, which will provide insights into the everyday work of the professionals. The whole thing is moderated by Sven Sandbothe in the Radio Kiepenkerl stage truck, which also offers a wide range of events. For example, children can play the radio and take their news home on a USB stick.
Technical expertise and interesting topics
The event will be accompanied by experts who will answer questions on important topics such as motor and language development, preventive examinations and child vaccinations. Prof. Heymut Omran from UKM emphasizes how important transparent and humane care is for critically ill children. Dr. Jürgen Althaus from the Christophorus Clinics will explain the broad spectrum of care provided by the Clinic for Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine. The discussions about topics such as crying babies and psychosomatic illnesses, which are important for many parents, are particularly interesting.
Another exciting point on the program is that Dr. Julien Park informs about rare metabolic diseases and pediatric intensive care nurse Sarah Krüger gives insights into her challenging everyday work. In addition, an incubator with the training mannequin “Paul” from Dr. Julia Sandkötter presented - a fascinating opportunity to find out more about technical aids in pediatric medicine.
Current developments in mobile communications
And while Coesfeld is definitely focused on the events, Formula 1 in London couldn't be more exciting. Scuderia Ferrari has officially unveiled its new car, the SF-25. The new model will be tested on the racetrack in the coming weeks and promises to combine the stability of recent years with innovative technical solutions, as reported in a report by Ferrari is to be read.
With all of these exciting developments, the citizens of Coesfeld and motorsport enthusiasts can certainly expect the next few weeks to be full of activity and information!
