Helge Schneider celebrates 70: An evening full of laughter in Duisburg!

On Friday, October 31st, the Mercatorhalle in Duisburg will once again be transformed into a stage for an evening full of laughter and music. The celebrated comedian and musician Helge Schneider performs from 8 p.m. and brings its unique program of comedy, cabaret and music. Supported by his talented band consisting of piano, guitar, double bass, drums and violin, Schneider will take his audience on a humorous journey. The event is special as the artist celebrates his 70th birthday this year, which will certainly create a celebratory atmosphere. Tickets are available from 44.90 euros and the show ends in around two hours.

But that's not the only attraction Duisburg has to offer on October 31st. Reading in the central library Navid Kermani from 8 p.m. from his new book “In the Other Direction Now”. The literary evening, moderated by literary critic Denis Scheck, highlights Kermani's travels to distant countries and addresses important social issues such as climate change, war and identity. The reading promises exciting input and lasts until around 10 p.m. Admission prices are 14 euros at the box office and 12 euros in advance.

Halloween at Duisburg Zoo

For younger visitors there is a spooky event on the same day: Duisburg Zoo invites you to a Halloween evening from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. A very special ambience is created with atmospheric lighting and illuminated animal facilities.
