In Cologne and beyond, the No Angels fan base is looking forward to the cult band's comeback! The No Angels, who emerged from the casting show “Popstars” in 2000, are, according to Radio EnnepeRuhr, the most successful female band in Germany. After a break from 2014 to 2021, the four singers - Lucy Diakovska, Jessica Wahls, Sandy Mölling and Nadja Benaissa - prepared for their comeback. To manage everyday organizational life, they use a WhatsApp group that was launched in 2020. Intensive communication
Members of the band live in different places, but these have no influence on the close connection. Lucy is in Bulgaria while Sandy lives in Los Angeles. Jessica often cheers up the group by sharing funny TikTok videos, and Lucy provides the others with photos of possible stage outfits. There are several chat groups, including one for their management and social media team.
“It happens regularly that Lucy writes to the wrong group,” Jessica adds humorously. This shows once again how important communication is to keep the band going and maintain close contact over the distance.
A look into the future
With “I Still Believe” the No Angels not only have a new song, but also a musical sign of life after their break. “It was an emotional journey, similar to our hit “Daylight in Your Eyes,” recalls Lucy. The band have announced that they will perform the song live in the studio and are also preparing a Christmas album. So your fan base can look forward to even more musical treats.
