Every year at Christmas time a very special festival is celebrated in Berlin that brings light and warmth into the hearts of those in need. On December 22, 2025, feasting will take place again at the Estrel Hotel in Berlin: around 2,500 guests are expected, for whom 40 chefs and almost 200 helpers will prepare a Christmas feast. In the early days of 1995, the first festival was organized for 300 people, but it is now one of the largest of its kind in the capital.
