A new chapter begins at the Zülpich water sports lake! Björn Lindert and Lukas Funck from surft.GmbH in Cologne have taken over Tim Endlein's surfing base, which is now known as surft.beach. The rapid change of ownership, which began in March, is intended to focus on a family-friendly atmosphere with water sports at its core. While Tim and Ute Endlein are moving their surf school to Fehmarn in the future, surft.GmbH is tightening the reins in Zülpich.

surft.GmbH, known for its water sports on the Rhine, would like to establish Zülpich as a center for water sports and community. “We want to create a place with a holiday character and cater to the trend towards home holidays,” explains Lukas Funck. In addition to windsurfing, the planned activities also include wakesurfing, surf yoga and various sports courses. Cologne City Gazette reports that the existing offers, such as the rental of SUPs, catamarans and the barbecue boat, are still active and are even planned to be expanded.

Visitors can look forward to numerous activities. In addition to water sports, after-work events, children's and youth holiday camps and a modern beach bar will underline the new charm of the place. In addition, surft.beach cooperates with the Zülpich secondary school and the vocational college to offer students discounted SUP rentals. With a clear focus on safety and a carefree experience on the water, surft.beach Zülpich will also be happy to take over bookings and reservations from the previous operator. Managing director Christoph M. Hartmann from Seepark Zülpich is pleased about the upcoming collaboration, which will bring many new leisure activities to the region, be it children's birthday parties, company events or exciting holiday courses.
