Brothers in motorsport heaven: Timo and Fabian Wachs celebrate success!
In Cologne, motorsport is becoming more and more exciting for the brothers Timo and Fabian Wachs. After a successful year in 2025, in which they celebrated numerous successes, the siblings from MSC Werlte are now looking forward to the coming season with confidence. Timo, 22 years old, even won the U23 World Cup on the long track in Vechta, an achievement that helped him achieve the greatest success of his career. In the past he was second in the track cup behind his brother Fabian in 2019, which shows how closely the two brothers' sporting paths are connected.
Fabian, the 27-year-old brother, is also at the forefront of motorsport. As a reservist at various Grands Prix and the Challenge, he gained valuable experience. In the European Championship final in Eenrum he was able to secure 13th place, which motivates him for the future. At the German Championships in Schwarme he came ninth, proving that he is in shape despite tough competition.
Family support and clear goals
A big plus for the brothers is the family structures that support their success. For both, the focus is on the family team: Timo's girlfriend Lea takes care of organizational matters, while her father Wachs provides flexible support in technical, organizational and psychological aspects. The mother, Monika, also plays a crucial role: she is concerned with food and the well-being of her two sons, while Angie Dammeier is responsible for the social media presence and public relations. It turns out that decisions in Team Wachs are always made together, which strengthens cohesion.
What will the next year bring for the two brothers? Timo has set himself the clear goal of defending his World Cup title, while Fabian plans to take part in the World and European Championships again. Both are concentrating heavily on long-distance racing and have already signed several contracts for the new season.
Name and identity
The first name Timo, which comes from the Greek name “Timotheos”, is also interesting. Originally it means something like “honoring God” or “honored by God”. This gives the name a certain gravity and spiritual meaning rooted in Greek culture. Timo, as a diminutive form of this name, indicates that it is highly valued in various cultures, even if it was not among the top 1000 names in the USA in 2020. Whoever bears the name is often associated with qualities such as honor and respect.
The discussions about the future in motorsport are promising, and the Wachs siblings stand out with their family solidarity and the successes they have achieved. We can only hope that the coming seasons will be just as exciting and successful for the two brothers and their team.
