Things will be colorful and exciting in Cologne! This begins next Sunday, October 12th at the Cineplex Great children's film festival, which is entirely dedicated to children's book classics. This event is aimed at children aged 6 to 12 as well as their parents and grandparents. It's the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the magical world of films.
The opening ceremony starts at 11 a.m. with the film “The School of Magical Animals, Part 4”. This is suitable for children aged 8 and over and the entry price is 6 euros. On Monday, October 13th, “The Most Unboring School in the World” will be coming to the screen at 10 a.m., also for children aged 8 and over, and the whole thing is available for 5 euros including a snack package.
Diverse program for little cinema fans
Tuesday, October 14th, offers further fun for little ones aged 6 and over with “Fox and Rabbit Save the World”, also for 5 euros including a snack package. On Wednesday, October 15th, “Pippi in Taka-Tuka-Land” is on the program. This enchanting 1969 film adaptation, directed by Olle Hellbom, is shown free of charge to all birthday children born in 1969. Everyone else pays 5 euros, including a small bag of popcorn and a drink.
Pippi's Adventure from Sweden tells the story of Tommi and Annika, who stay with Pippi Longstocking while her parents are on vacation. With a magical ball and a captive balloon, the children set out to free Pippi's father from captivity by the pirates. A truly exciting and collaborative goal!
