Maxipark is transformed into a sound world for children - be there!
The summer holidays are in full swing and the Maxipark becomes the setting for a colorful children's show. Today, July 18, 2025, the first exciting days of the children's music summer holiday program will take place, which is made possible thanks to the Maxipark's dedicated support association. All little music lovers and their families can be particularly happy because entry to the exciting program items is included in park admission - no additional costs, very uncomplicated! Lippewelle reports on the high expectations and the events that have already started and are taking place in the park's action hollow.
The program started on July 16th with Heiko Fänger in “Inga’s Garden”. The next highlight is just around the corner: the popular “Liedergärtner” will perform on July 23rd at 3:00 p.m. This duo brings over 20 years of experience in children's music and impresses with a repertoire that combines pictorial language and humorous texts. Their catchy melodies are played on a variety of instruments including guitar, ukulele and drums. Singing along and joining in is expressly encouraged! Maximilianpark emphasizes that the action days also offer a valuable opportunity to introduce children to their own expressive abilities in a playful way.
A colorful program for the little ones
After the performance of the “Liedergärtner” there will be a big pirate festival with Captain Black and his crew on July 27th from 2:00 p.m. – another highlight for all little adventure seekers. If you would like to experience even more music, you have the opportunity to experience Mathi, the children's songwriter, on July 30th at 3:00 p.m. And on August 6th at 3:00 p.m. the Suppi Huhn & the Children's Kings ensemble will ensure a good mood with pop music for children.
Last but not least, the big closing party will take place on August 16th from 2:00 p.m., in which Isa Glücklich and the popular walk acts Bibi & Tina will perform. All events are tailored to the needs of the little ones and, in bad weather, take place in the park's workshop hall. There is no entry fee for annual ticket holders - that makes the whole thing twice as much fun!
Commitment to children and music
In addition to the activities in the Maxipark, Thomas Koppe, another well-known children's songwriter, reminds us how important music events are for early childhood development. Its interactive children's programs are available all year round and aim to strengthen motor skills, a sense of rhythm and language comprehension in little ones. Kinderliedermacher-Koppe has already given over 1,300 children's song concerts in its career and thus significantly enriches the cultural offerings for children.
The events in the Maxipark are therefore not only a festive but also an educational opportunity to enjoy the summer holidays to the fullest. With a strong focus on participation and experience, the joy of music and movement is very important here - and that is also what defines the goal of everyone involved.
