Minigolf World Cup 2025 in Neheim: A celebration for players and spectators!

In just a few days the time has come: the Minigolf World Championship will take place in Neheim from August 19th to 23rd, 2025 and promises to be one of the most outstanding sporting events of the year. The organizing club, MSK Neheim-Hüsten, spared no effort to put this event together. With a total of 22 nations bringing around 205 players and coaches back to Neheim, the city will once again become the center of mini golf.

The competitions will feature a diverse program that includes both team and individual strokeplay competitions. There is also a mixed team competition and exciting knock-out matches in the match play system. The organizers invite all sports enthusiasts to attend these competitions on all five days of the tournament to see the best players in the world and enjoy the atmosphere.

The preparation is in full swing

Preparations have been in full swing since the World Cup was officially awarded in 2023. The mini golf course in Neheim was extensively overhauled: obstacles were renovated, courses were freshly painted and the boards were replaced. The paths have also been made wider, and a covered VIP lounge ensures that guests have a spectacular view of the action. The event is supported by local partners and organizations, including the city sports association and city marketing.

In addition to the sporting competition, visitors can expect a wide range of restaurants on the terrace. Food and drinks are provided here, so no one has to watch hungry or thirsty. Team Germany has already organized accommodation in the toboggan house for the participants so that they can have the best possible rest during the tournament.

Special events and celebrations

A highlight will be the opening ceremony in the Neheim outdoor pool, which will take place on August 17th. As part of the supporting program, spectators can expect the hunters' parade, which brings even more local tradition to the event. Medals are awarded immediately after each competition at the facility and immediately reward the best performances.

The grand finale of the World Cup will take place on August 23rd in the Hertreiben Schützenhalle, where the award ceremony and entertaining show acts await visitors. Lauro Klöckener, a mini golfer from Neheim, has already qualified for the World Cup and describes the event as a “unique opportunity” to experience mini golf in all its glory.
