Minden trade fair starts with scary fun and fireworks!
Things will soon be going well again in Minden! From October 31st to November 9th, the largest fair on the Weser, the Minden Autumn Fair, opens its doors. Organized by Minden Marketing GmbH and the Showmen's Association Minden-Lübbecke e.V., visitors can expect a colorful hustle and bustle on the Kanzlers Weide. With modern rides, a magnificent Ferris wheel and the popular duck fishing, there is something for every taste. There will also be a lot of culinary excitement, as various gastronomic offerings invite you to feast. Everything else has been compiled by Die Harke.
On opening day, October 31st, the atmosphere will be particularly spooky, as a big Halloween event is on the agenda. Visitors in costumes can look forward to little surprises and the whole thing is accompanied by eerie light effects in the rides. This means that the start of the trade fair will be a real eye-catcher that will immediately captivate visitors young and old. The city of Minden describes the festive opening in detail.
Opening times and attractions
The fair will be open every day during its duration, with different times for each day of the week:
| day | Opening hours |

On November 1st, a quiet holiday, the fair will only be open from 6 p.m., but the wait will be worth it. A family Sunday on November 5th offers reduced prices, and the spectacular fireworks display on November 7th guarantees unforgettable evening entertainment.
Parking options and information
Visitors should note that the Kanzlers Weide large car park is closed during this time. In order to still be able to travel comfortably, alternative parking areas are available, such as the Weserglacis behind the BZA. The parking spaces on the northern side of the Schlagde are free, while the southern part remains subject to charges. It is advisable to use inner-city parking options and to keep the dirt roads on Hausberger Straße, which serve as emergency routes, clear. In addition, the parking lot near the “Taj Mahal” snack bar is designated as an emergency assembly point and appropriate checks are carried out.
The Minden Autumn Fair will certainly once again be a festival of lights and happy faces, and in addition to all the rides, the focus will also be on community. So if you're looking for varied entertainment, you definitely shouldn't miss this event. Those interested can find more information on the official website of Minden Marketing, where not only the trade fair program but also contact options can be found.
