Young talents from Delbrück inspire with a harmonious concert!
A magical concert of young talent unfolded in Delbrück today. The ambitious participants of the JeKits program, which is carried out at local schools and at the Paderborn district music school, presented themselves under the motto “Little musicians really big”. The children showed off their skills with a lot of joy and gave the spectators an unforgettable evening. Paderborn district reports that this event was the second of its kind and aimed to bring together talent from different institutions and promote the joy of making music together.
The JeKits trombone group from the Johannesschule Delbrück, led by Rainard Bunte, was particularly in the spotlight. They captivated the audience with their full, harmonious sounds. The anticipation and excitement was palpable in the air as the growing artists appeared on stage.
Importance of JeKits Program
The JeKits program is a cultural educational offer that enables children in North Rhine-Westphalia to develop musical, dancing and singing skills. The aim is to promote aesthetic experiences and artistic learning through music and dance. The first steps in this creative process are taken in the first school year, where the children are given space for aesthetic experiences. JeKits offers also the rare chance that all children in a school are reached, regardless of their previous musical career.
In the first year, all students receive basic musical or dance training, either making music or dancing together in instrumental ensembles, dance groups or vocal ensembles. From the second year onwards, the children can deepen their skills and the offer is temporarily voluntary, which makes the decision to participate even easier. Teachers from the extracurricular education partners work hand in hand with the primary school teachers and design the lessons in tandem.
Some young talent, great talent
The concert itself undoubtedly made an impact and highlighted the talents of the young musicians. The Bergische Music School highlights the importance of this program as it offers children the opportunity to discover and develop their talents. Parents and teachers agree that the children's enthusiasm is a valuable asset for the entire community.
The JeKits program not only provides musical highlights, but also promotes social interaction and learning together. This makes this project particularly valuable in today's world, when many children are looking for ways to express themselves creatively and get involved in the community.
