Nettetal celebrates Advent: Free celebrations in all parts of the city!

The city of Nettetal warmly invites you to the popular “Together in Advent” celebrations in the run-up to Christmas. These events take place in all parts of the city and offer citizens a wonderful opportunity to chat in a pleasant atmosphere and enjoy the anticipation of Christmas. The doors are open to everyone, regardless of age, origin or living circumstances. Of course, these communal celebrations include free drinks, delicious pastries and a warm meal.

Tickets are required but are available for free. Today, November 3rd, 2025, tickets can be picked up from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Lobberich town hall, Doerkesplatz 11, room 107. There is good news for everyone who can't make it today: from November 4th to 6th, 2025, the cards will be distributed at various distribution points in the districts.

Supportive partnerships

These warm celebrations are not only organized by the city of Nettetal, but also supported by local church communities and other institutions. These include the Nettetal refugee aid association, the Benedikt-Labre-Haus, the Lebenshilfe Kreis Viersen district, the Cäcilia Hinsbeck 1896 music association, the Viersen district music school, the Viersen police women's choir and many volunteers. This support shows how important it is to be together in the community.
