Wuppertal helps: Big charity festival for The Tie”!
On January 24th, 2026, the 16th charity festival of WUPPERTAL HILFT! will take place at the Live Club Barmen (LCB) in Wuppertal. walk across the stage. This event benefits the “Die Tie” association, which supports people in need in the region. As the City newspaper reports, the initiators have already collected over 500,000 euros for charitable purposes since 2005 and distributed them to numerous aid organizations. What’s special about this festival? All artists waive their fee, so that the entire admission price of just 10 euros goes into the “donation pot”.
What is particularly pleasing is that the Bethe Foundation doubles the donations collected. This means that every euro becomes a valuable contribution to helping even more people in need. “The Tie” is based in a former tie factory in Wuppertal-Heckinghausen and supports people in difficult life situations with practical offers of help.
