An exciting course on dental health for the little ones is on the program in Kirchheimbolanden. On Thursday, November 13th, the workshop with the motto “Healthy teeth right from the start” will take place from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the conference room of the Westpfalz Clinic. The event is led by Ann-Kathrin Schlemmer, a committed speaker from the Rhineland-Palatinate Youth Dental Care Association (LAGZ). The aim of the course is to educate parents and carers about proper dental care for babies and young children.
The range of topics is extensive and starts with the first teeth. The course covers important aspects such as brushing your teeth from the first tooth, the first visit to the dentist, the use of pacifiers as well as drinking habits and a healthy diet. The use of fluorides, which are crucial for dental health, is also discussed. The Rhine Palatinate reports that these early experiences are crucial for dental health later in life.
