Sporting highlights will attract football fans to Rockenhausen next Saturday. The 3rd Rok-Town mini-tournament will be held there from 10 a.m., which represents an exciting challenge for the F youth teams. There are several clubs taking part that compete on the pitch and, above all, want to offer their own young talent a platform. The participants include Phoenix Schifferstadt, Arminia Ludwigshafen, TSG Weinheim/Mauchenheim and SV Horchheim. In addition, two teams from the host team FV Rockenhausen will show their skills.

One reason for the continuation of the popular tournament is the success of the first two editions, which thrilled both players and coaches. This year the tournament is being held as the first preparatory tournament for the new F youth and offers all clubs the opportunity to present themselves in a performance comparison. Game mode and general conditions

The tournament will be held on two large fields measuring 20×32 meters. The game is played in a 4+1 format, with return games being played. In addition, some teams have the opportunity to play three-on-three on a Funinio field at the same time, which is an additional highlight. The organizers, including FVR youth worker Maik Obenauer, are pleased with the strong field of participants and see the tournament as a great challenge, both for the children and for the organizing team.
