Company run and festivals: A weekend full of action in Koblenz!
What's on people's minds in Koblenz and the surrounding area this weekend? A variety of exciting events are coming up! On June 27, 2025, the B2Run company run will take place through Koblenz city center and along the Rhine. With a route of 5.4 kilometers through the city and the finish at the iconic Deutsches Eck, this run not only promises sporting ambition, but also a great after-run party with a live DJ. A perfect place for team building and health promotion, that is also the meaning behind the event, as B2Run emphasizes. Registration is possible online and the starting signal is given at 5:00 p.m.
Anyone looking for slightly different activities can prepare for the “Beer Vibes” event at the leisure pond in Mendig. From 6:00 p.m. onwards you can celebrate with music and drinks in a cozy lounge area. Entry costs 10 euros and ensures a relaxed evening with friends.
Culture and spectacle
The castle festival in Mayen runs from June 27th to 29th, 2025 and offers a diverse program. At the historic castle, visitors can admire four different productions, including Goethe's “The Sorrows of Young Werther” and an unusual interpretation of the Titanic. Tickets are available in advance and promise a unique cultural experience.
Another highlight of the week will be the Sinti festival “Django’s Heirs” on the Asterstein, which will take place on June 28, 2025. Artists such as the Gypsy Kids Koblenz and the Taylor Reinhardt Trio perform here under the motto “Together instead of against each other – connecting cultures”. Tickets cost 22 euros in advance and 25 euros at the box office. People with disabilities have free entry.
For younger sports enthusiasts, there is a kids and teen sports camp run by BSV-RLP in Koblenz on June 28th and 29th, 2025. In the Falckenstein barracks, young people between the ages of 6 and 21 can choose from 15 different sports, all at no cost! A great offer to promote fitness and team spirit.
Passion for sport and health
Would you like to get active and do something good for your team at the same time? The B2Run company run is not only the largest running organizer in Europe, but is also characterized by its health promotion, as AOK emphasizes. Companies and employees can start together here and strengthen team cohesion through active participation in running. The event has established itself as a platform that offers a positive impact for companies, especially in times when working from home is the order of the day.
