A festive musical afternoon awaits visitors on Saturday, November 22nd, in the Carolinensaal on Buchsweiler-Tor-Platz in Pirmasens. Starting at 4 p.m., all music lovers are cordially invited to experience the student concert at the Pirmasens Adult Education Center. The talented musicians present their skills under the motto “Music connects” – admission is free!
The concert starts with a lively start by the flute ensemble, which will perform under the direction of Gerwin Schmucker. Afterwards, the VHS choir “Taktvoll” will raise its voices under the experienced direction of Edith Burkhard. The listeners are offered a varied program, in which the contributions from music students of lecturers Elena Ryseck, Markus Meisenheimer and Sara-Maria Kawczynska stand out. A very special highlight of the evening is Najmeh Rouhanizadeh's performance on the Persian santur, in which the connection between Persian and Western classical music is impressively demonstrated. PS-ST reports that the event is open to young and old and attracts both families and music enthusiasts.
