In times when awareness of safety in everyday life is becoming increasingly important, the equal opportunities officer for the Bad Dürkheim district is organizing a lecture in cooperation with other partners that not only provides information, but also has a preventative effect. Under the title “The safe way home/protection from knockout drops”, this informative event will take place on Tuesday, November 25th, at 7 p.m. in the council chamber of the district administration in Bad Dürkheim.

The speakers, including Heinz Hussy from the White Ring, will focus on the safety of women on the way home and protection from knockout drops. Speyer Courier reports that knockout drops are used as secretly administered substances to impair consciousness and manipulate. These dangerous substances can cause nausea, dizziness, memory loss and, in worst cases, unconsciousness.

The dark side of knockout drops
