In an exciting turn of events for young hurdler Linus Valnion from Niederkirchen, he has been selected for the upcoming European Youth Olympic Festival nominated. This major sporting event, which will take place in Skopje in mid-July, is one of the most exciting opportunities for aspiring athletes from all over Europe.
The festival, launched in 1990, offers young athletes aged 14 to 18 the opportunity to interact with their peers from up to 50 European countries in an “athletes' village”. Values such as fair play and friendship are very important here.
