In the latest episode of “The Perfect Dinner,” which aired on September 8, 2025, 29-year-old Kim from Northern Germany won the title of winner. Her cooking skills impressed the jury and gave her a total of 39 points. The event took place in and around Flensburg and the motto of the dinner was “Wat fien’s ut Land un See”, which refers to the regional ingredients that Kim uses with love.
Kim, who works as a branch manager for a discount grocery store and lives in a former in-law farm, has focused her menu entirely on fresh and regional products. This has been a passion of hers since she was a child. Her dish, the char ceviche, impressed with the combination with a homemade brown bread crumble and a homemade apple mayonnaise - a real culinary delight! She also served a tender veal fillet as the main course, which was rounded off with fried polenta and a pea and cream cheese puree.

A notable detail from Kim's life story also became part of her performance. While cooking, she listened to music from her favorite band, the Ärzte. Kim shared a special anecdote with the singer Bela B.: She waited a whole ten hours for the band to perform and was finally allowed to receive a kiss from Bela B.. “I’m a big fan of the doctors!” says Kim. This personal connection to music has further shaped her passion for cooking. “The right music simply makes cooking more fun,” she revealed in her interview.
The dessert special, their impressively designed shell-shaped meringue shell, was served with a sea buckthorn sauce and was the culmination of the menu for the guests. The presentation of the food was a visual and taste experience for the participants that they will not soon forget.
