On Saturday, September 27th, 2025, a special event will take place in Bad Schwartau: The city is taking part in the nationwide “Night of the Churches” campaign for the first time. This event opens the doors of seven places of worship from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and invites curious visitors to experience Christian community up close. Pastor Klaus Bergmann of the independent Evangelical Lutheran Church emphasizes that this night is an excellent opportunity to get to know the churches outside of their usual services. With a varied program, the “Night of the Churches” promises to be a real highlight, so that many interested parties will surely find their way to the churches.
