On Wednesday morning, May 21, 2025, a spectacular traffic accident occurred in Niederwihl: a 65-year-old Mercedes driver who pulled a trailer experienced a shock moment when the door of the trailer opened without warning! The trailer crashed against a house wall with full force - they follow: several thousand euros in property damage!

The door door was completely torn down in the impact, but luckily the driver was not injured. The investigation into the exact cause of the accident is still in progress.
