Vocational trade fairs in Stuhr: Students meet companies at Speeddating!

Stuhr, Deutschland - In February 2025, the cooperative comprehensive schools in Stuhr are in the spotlight! These schools invite to exciting job fairs in which students in Speeddating can get in touch with local training companies. The events are aimed at young people from the ninth and tenth vintage and are intended to make it easier to get started. On February 6, the fair will take place at the KGS Brinkum, where up to 50 companies are waiting for the students. Each student has the opportunity to meet two companies in advance to have targeted conversations.

The KGS Moordeich will organize a similar fair on February 11th. The preparation for the events includes workshops, application training and experience reports in order to optimally prepare the students for their conversations with the companies. Economic promoter Peer Beyersdorff sees the trade fairs as a crucial instrument against the shortage of skilled workers: "The hurdles between school and professional life are massively reduced."
