The football players of VfL Wolfsburg and their coach Tommy Stroot will take their separate ways in the future. Stroot has resigned with immediate effect, and a successor has not yet been determined.

Stroot, who has been a team of the team since the summer of 2021, had extended his contract until 2027 in September 2024. Despite this decision, he has now declared that he no longer feels the necessary energy in order to meet the high demands.
