Erding Gladiators celebrate hard won 1-0 victory against Buchloe!

The Erding Gladiators celebrated their season start with a hard-won 1-0 win against ESV Buchloe! Almost 1,000 enthusiastic fans in Stadtwerke Erding Arena saw an exciting game that was on the brink for over 60 minutes. The pirates had the better start and only hit the post in the 5th minute, while the gladiators only fought into the game in the middle of the first third, but without real goal.

In the second third, the encounter picked up speed. Captain Philipp Michl put a fine pass on Kyle Brothers, who scored the much -celebrated lead goal in the 37th minute from a short distance. In the last section, the Gladiators dominated the game, but could not score another goal. Even when Buchloe took off the goalkeeper in favor of an additional field player shortly before the end, the pirates remained without any noteworthy opportunities.
