Basketball Girlscamp 2024: Funding and team spirit in Gießen Wieseck

The basketball "Girls-Camp 2024" recently took place in Gießen Wieseck, an initiative to promote young basketball talents. Already in the second edition of this event, passionate players came together to refine their skills and at the same time make new friendships. The TSG Wieseck and Linden Basketball had invited to the camp to support girls basketball and increase its level of awareness.

Over the summer vacation, 32 girls aged 10 to 14 used the opportunity to work on their technical skills under the guidance of an experienced five -member team. The training program not only included basketball techniques, but also teamwork and the fun of the game. The atmosphere was characterized by enthusiasm and joy in joint sport.

A special experience for the participants was the visit of Luis Figge, a professional from the Gießen-46ers, and Katharina Quapil from the Bender Baskets from Grünberg. These contacts with experienced players offered young basketball players an exciting perspective and the opportunity to learn from the best. The connection to active players not only promotes sporting development, but also strengthens the self -confidence of the girls.

The camp offered lunch together every day, in which the participants could relax and exchange ideas about their progress. Snacks and drinks ensured the necessary energy, and a T-shirt specially designed for the Camp received all girls as a souvenir of the week.
