Emotional farewell and new ways: graduation ceremony at the Sophie-Scholl-Schule Gießen
with "open heart" new ways
A moving farewell was celebrated with a symbolic gesture at the Sophie Scholl School in Gießen when the grades received their certificates. The school spokeswoman Liya Yildiz emphasized in her speech that the students have achieved much more than just book knowledge.
The graduates of the Sophie Scholl School Gießen were adopted in a solemn ceremony. A total of 56 students proudly received their certificates. The school spokeswoman Liya Yildiz described this moment as "bitter sweet" because he marked the beginning of a new chapter. In addition to school knowledge, the graduates also learned to be part of a community, to take responsibility and to stand up for their beliefs.
It is particularly gratifying that 19 students passed the secondary school leaving certificate, while eleven received the suitability for the high school. Twelve graduates have reached the secondary school leaving certificate and four can look forward to a good bo-end. The graduates are now facing the challenge of breaking new ground and setting new goals.
In a moving speech, Anja Kuhl, a member of the school management, encouraged the graduates to set off and open their eyes and hearts. She emphasized that saying goodbye also means the chance to search for new ways and achieve new goals. The farewell party was rounded off by personal rhymes of the class teams, musical contributions from the school band and emotional video interviews by graduates.
This graduation ceremony not only marks the end of a school time, but also the beginning of a new phase of life for the graduates of the Sophie Scholl School. With the words and the symbolism of the White Rose as a sign of Sophie Scholl, it becomes clear that the graduates start their future with courage, openness and determination.
