Christian Vüllink's new boss of the Junge Union: fresh wind in Bentheim!

The Junge Union (JU) Grafschaft Bentheim has chosen a new district board. At the meeting, the previous district chairman Klara Horst, 29 years old and a lawyer, did not start again after 4.5 years. Christian Völlink, 25 years old and architectural student, now takes over the office of district chairman. In her farewell speech, Horst looked back on her term and mentioned, among other things, the local elections, in which over 30 JU candidates were set up, as well as the Lower Saxony Day in Wietmarschen and Nordhorn.

The new deputies of Vüllink are Kevin Döhe (31, Nordhorn), who begins his second term of office, and Jannes Elferink (19, Uelsen), who is new. In addition, Jonas Brink (18, Nordhorn) was elected as the new managing director, and Aljoscha Loh (27, Schüttorf) will continue to take over the position of treasurer. René Löffler (30, Nordhorn) was elected as press spokesman, while the assessors Carina Olthoff (31, Nordhorn), Konstantin Kuhr (17, Schüttorf), Lea Muschielak (28, Nordhorn), Luce Worzischek (18, Nordhorn) and Simon Harms (18, Wietmarschen) were named. Kevin Siegmeyer (19, Georgsdorf) will act as a member representative.

commitment and outlook

Christian Vüllink thanked the members for their trust and paid tribute to Klara Horst's work during her term. Vüllink plans to align the next district delegate day in Uelsen and would like to consider the preparations for the 2026 municipal elections as important milestones of his term. Klara Horst and other members were adopted for their commitment during the event. As a guest, Reinhold Hilbers, Chairman of the Grafschaffer CDU, was also present, who praised Horst's commitment and the cooperation with the new board.

The district association of the Junge Union in the county of Bentheim comprises over 200 active young people aged 14 to 35 years. The aim of the organization is to represent the interests of young people and young adults and invite them to help shape their homeland. The motto is: "50% politics and 50% fun", which underlines the focus on politics and community.
