In a groundbreaking declaration on agreement, Stefan Prinz, the negotiator of ver.di: "The employees have really earned this historical tariff after a long fight for 14 months and strikes. While the employers played temporarily, the employees proved a remarkable perseverance." The new collective agreement provides for a retrospective salary increase of 5.1 percent from October 2023. In addition, there will be another increase of 5.0 percent from May 2024 and another 2.0 percent from May 2025. From August 2023 to August 2025, the training allowances are to be increased by 60 euros per training year. Furthermore, a tariff pension of 480 euros was agreed from May 2025.
In addition, the employees receive a one -time inflation equalization bonus of 1,000 euros. This premium is paid for a proportionate to trainees and part -time employees.
