The Ulm Spatzen face a major challenge: After the disappointing 0-1 defeat against Karlsruher SC, return to Darmstadt on Sunday, October 27, 2024. There the sparrows meet the Bundesliga relegated Darmstadt 98, a team that, despite their difficulties, had a 5-1 victory against Cologne. SSV coach Thomas Wörle is aware of the challenge and emphasizes that his team has to work hard to improve their performance and to be able to pass the experienced professionals.

In the sparrows squad, the long-term injuries are still missing, Reichert and Kahvic, while Max Brandt, could return into the game as a possible option after his red lock. While around 1,000 fans take the trip to Hesse, Wörle is optimistic that his team, despite the recent setbacks, learns from every game and can successfully deny the fight for relegation. The kick -off is at 1:30 p.m.
