Facking online applications: Krefeld introduces Germany ID

The city administration of Krefeld has taken an innovative step to facilitate interaction with the administration to their citizens. Around 550 online services are currently available in Krefeld, which enable residents to conveniently deal with many administrative matters from home. The introduction of Germany ID will not only relieve the citizens, but also optimize the administrative process. Citizens can avoid typing errors by filling the online application, based on the stored personal data. The processing of many processes is significantly simplified on the administrative side, which not only saves time, but also accelerates the work processes.

The deputy head of the Bürgerservice department, Natalie Valera, refers to the important prerequisite for the use of Germany ID: the oath function of the ID card or an electronic residence permit. After the one -time legitimization, users no longer have to re -identify themselves for future applications, because the account is from now on the valid proof. When setting up the account, the citizens' service is available to help and advise citizens and answers arising questions.

An additional characteristic of Germany ID is the integrated mailbox. Here, notices and letters from the online applications made can be received, which the administration further simplifies. The digital identification not only saves ways and time, but a more environmentally friendly solution is also created.

Information event on Germany ID

As part of the "Action Week Germany ID" from September 9th to 13th, the Citizens' Service Department invites all interested citizens to the Mitte Bürgerbüro in the Krefeld town hall to find out about the EID function and the establishment of Germany ID. Some Krefeld citizens were enthusiastic about this digital process as part of the smart city day.

For participation in the action week, a prior appointment is required, which can be done either online or by phone at 0 21 51/86 0. Citizens should bring their own end device to the appointments, such as a smartphone. It is also advisable to have access to your own e-mail inbox ready because the registration process must be confirmed there. From August 16, the citizens 'service will also offer this support service in all other citizens' offices, with an individual appointment.
