Regensburg, Deutschland - On April 9, 2025, Science Minister Markus Blume awarded the renowned “Prize for Good Teaching” to twenty outstanding lecturers and lecturers from Bavarian universities. This prize recognizes excellent teachings at state universities in Bavaria and is endowed with 5,000 euros each. The award was awarded as part of the "Tag for Good Teaching" at the Julius Maximilians University in Würzburg.

The winners' selection is made by suggestions from the home schools, whereby students are also actively involved in the decision -making process. A prerequisite for the award are at least two academic years of excellent teaching at a state university in Bavaria. Markus Blume praised the winners for their commitment and creativity in teaching.
